Project Details :
Cardiovascular Disease is a leading cause of death globally. The UK has a disproportionately high burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and people of South Asian and African origin have the highest risks of developing the condition. Crossway Alliance worked to address this growing public health challenge in a sustainable way, culminating in a demonstration program termed Cardiovascular- Disease & Cholesterol Awareness.

- Facilitated partnerships to promote CVD Awareness
- Community Health Workshops and Events
- Distribution of over 250 Validated BP Monitoring Devices
- Referral of High Risk Participants to Primary Care
Final Results :

Increase in awareness and knowledge on risk factors amongst community members and on the need to participate in national health checks.
